This is amazingly comfortable on a hardtail mountain bike. I bought this after trying many places in the $120 range. This is definitely not a golden saddle for me, but my butt really does feel like it has been hit with a metal bat after a two-hour ride. It allowed me to stop worrying about my butt and focus on driving. This seat looks very uncomfortable, but the point is that it flexes and acts as a shock absorber. It is made of carbon fiber and has extra padding in the seat area. It definitely took the big hits when I was scaling long distances on my mountain bike. For the price I highly recommend it. As far as I know this is a famous brand clone for a fraction of the price.
