Attached photos are fresh out of the box, so there are creases due to the box. After washing, the creases were immediately smoothed out. I was very impressed with the workmanship as the stitching is very clean and sturdy; In that regard, you definitely get what you paid for in the best possible way. I'm not afraid of the seams failing during the life of these covers, the fabric will definitely fail first. The weave of the fabric is such that daylight breaks through between the stripes, which worries me a bit. But the weave *in* the stripes is pretty strong and soft to the touch. These covers are a little rougher than you might expect if you've ever had microfiber towels in the past; the material is woven from natural cotton, so initially it has a different texture than smooth synthetic fibres. Washing has helped soften the material and it continues to get softer with every use and wash. If you're super sensitive to texture, it might be best to stick with synthetic materials. If you like (or even don't mind) the feel of natural materials, this is a great place to stay.
