Review on Aleader Minimalist Barefoot Running Shoes with Separate Toes by Jesus Olsen

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Great minimalist style

I've been wearing minimalist shoes for 14 years. They feel perfect and fit a US size 13. I mostly wear Merrell's but I was looking for more affordable shoes. They actually feel better than their more expensive counterpart. The toe box is wider, they breathe better and they don't have that uncomfortable arch around the middle of the arch. I'll update this review after I've had them for a while to see if they hold up, but initially it feels better compared to a trail glove. A very good minimalist shoe in my opinion, but if you are looking for a standard sneaker then these are not for you. They are designed to feel barefoot. (To edit). I received it on January 16th and completed the verification on March 7th. These were my everyday shoes and they were holding up great after a month and a half. There is no separation from the rubber sole to the upper of the shoe. I've traveled in them, kayaked, worked as a bartender in them and just worn them. Not much wear on the bottom. still feel the same There really isn't much they need to change. Super durable minimalist shoe. Breathes very well. They are a bit reminiscent of water shoes with a wide toe and a non-slip sole in cross-country style. I recommend them if you like very minimalist sandal style shoes. Update 2.0 March 9th The only negative thing I can say about them is the style. They are very similar to five toe shoes. The soles bubble up a little around the toes. I get a lot of comments from people who think it's shoes with socks. I bought a black pair hoping it would look less like sock shoes and they actually look better. Still a bit closer to them than we'd like, but worth it for the price and convenience.
