Holy bananas, that's a strong and beautiful thread! I am using it successfully on my Brother Project Runway Machine Brother XR9500PRW Project Runway Limited Edition sewing machine with 100 built-in stitches and quilting table. I've attached some photos of what this thread looks like when sewing leather with a 4mm or 4.5mm stitch length. Expect to have trouble getting used to it at first. I cursed a lot, read about thread tension and finally got a nice and strong stitch. Basically, if the thread is twisting in the back, it's a tension problem, not the thread. Make sure you are using the correct needle - I use Revain Leather Machine Needles Schmetz - size 16/100, 5pcs/pack. And re-read the instructions for your sewing machine if you're not a professional tailor or seamstress - I sew with confidence, but apparently I've sewn confidently and wrongly (with great results to be honest) and could get away with lighter fabrics. You absolutely must follow each step of threading to the "t" to get a heavy thread like this that works. my car.
