Review on 🖥️ Enhanced Microsoft Designer Bluetooth Desktop Keyboard and Mouse Set (7N9-00001), in Classic Black by Amy Lindsey

I really wish this keyboard and mouse liked more, but they have two major drawbacks. The good news is the build quality and the great feel. I like the key travel and I can type quickly on the keyboard. We can say that the engineers put a lot of effort into the design. Of course it has a compact design so I'm sure bigger keyboards are more comfortable to type on but I liked this design and can't see how it could be improved with this design. The problems start with a mouse that doesn't seem to be as accurate as my old Logitech mouse. Although the design of the mouse is nice, I think I will update it in the past. The second issue is a known issue with this keyboard and mouse if you research online. Being a BT LE device, it will go into sleep mode when not in use to reduce battery drain. The problem is that in May 2017 they updated some software that reduces the idle time to 20-30 seconds, which means that if the keyboard or mouse is sitting longer than that time, it will go to sleep. Then you need to start typing or move the mouse to wake him up. It takes a second or two for the computer to respond to what you type or when you move the mouse. This makes using the keyboard and mouse very difficult/inconvenient. I've called Microsoft twice and the customer service is terrible. After talking twice to more than 6 people (both of them ended the call with disconnected line) they could never help me or offer any solution, they just handed me off to another person until the line went offline. I finally did more research on the internet. Learn how to manually configure your Bluetooth devices to increase idle time before your keyboard or mouse goes to sleep. This is my second day of keyboard and mouse use and I think I can live with items going to sleep now, but it's still a long way from my old keyboard and mouse responsiveness. If Microsoft improved the software so that the keyboard and mouse wouldn't go to sleep for 10-15 minutes, I would give this article 5 stars. As it sits it only gets 3 starts and only because I found a way to make it acceptably but not very well.
