My daughter runs small, remember my child is VERY skinny when you look at the pictures. everything is exactly as it should be. Ordered size 4-5 and it's definitely a bit big for her, not enough that we couldn't get it to work. Since I can sew and she's so skinny, I'll probably put up with her a bit and give her up when she grows up. My daughter recently turned 5 and weighs 40 pounds / 44 inches. Chest 22", Waist 18 1/2". We bought Disney Princess pink baby shoes to go with them in size 10 and they are ONLY the right height to not touch the ground but only the tips of their toes. The hoop skirt comes tomorrow and I think it would be perfect for that length. Everything about this dress is so soft, the lining is "like a flower" says my daughter. I agree with others that the front bow isn't cute but I'm a smart girl and I have some matching ribbons, flowers with pins and diamonds to dazzle this. Overall this is a great purchase if your child is a bit fatter than mine I think this would suit her well. The delivery was very quick. Some creases but nothing that can't be fixed, I think you will love this dress.
