Great Subaru Outback 96 Rear Camber Adjustment Kit

I bought these after being told that my Subaru Outback 96 rear camber was badly damaged. Combination of bent tie rod arms and worn struts. So I replaced my stays with Legacy L stays and installed these arms. (I also swapped out the front wishbones and struts to match.) It takes two sets to fully work! I had some difficulty removing one of the control levers on my Subaru and had to bring a cutting blade. I had to replace camber adjustment screw item 20540AA111. 22mm camber bolt with 17mm bolt. It is torqued to 100 ftlbs, as is a 17mm bolt and nut combo covered by a rubber bumper. I raised the suspension and tightened it under load, as did the 19mm tie rod bolt. Despite some difficulty removing these levers, they are actually very easy to install! Make sure you align them to at least the length of the old ones you are removing as this will bring them closer to the alignment needed to get you into the alignment workshop. I did this by inserting the tie rod bolt into the old control arm and the spacer and bolt into the new one and adjusting the new control arm until it could fit comfortably into the old control arm. Hex key for tightening the anti-roll bar bracket 6 mm. Be sure to install the stabilizer linkage before adjusting and tightening.

Pros
  • Coating for increased corrosion resistance and durability
Cons
  • Good but not great
