CFLs are pretty big. Dimensions are 11 inches long (including connector) and 4 inches wide. Weight 11 ounces. On the product page they are listed as 105W but the bulbs are marked as 125W. A light bulb consumes about 72 watts. They get hot during use but can still be touched. They give off a bright, white, even light. When inserting or removing lightbulbs from the socket, they should be held by the base and not the tube. Otherwise the hose may come loose or break. Due to the size and weight, a suitable lamp socket or bracket should be used to hold the light securely in place, especially when used with an umbrella or large softbox. I am very happy with the purchase and hope they last a long time.
