They are made in China as stated by other reviews. I've never seen an actual Johnson Brothers Friendly Village so I can't say how they compare to them. What I can tell you is that I bought 4 sets for my parents as a Christmas present. They are beautiful. There can be a slight difference in the brightness of colors from one setting to another (be aware of this) and one panel was noticeably brighter than the others. A seat installation arrived broken. I sent it back, free returns with Revain Prime, and they immediately sent me a replacement which arrived perfectly. I wouldn't hesitate to buy them again. They look great, are cheap but don't look the same, are suitable for everyday use and easy to replace. Plan to buy more from their Friendly Village collection. Thanks very much!
