There are many similar products on the market. If 4.5 stars were an option, I would choose that one. You'd think that for such a simple product someone could create the perfect version, but they all seem to have flaws. Why this model stands out1. There is a Velcro covering the screw heads, which prevents the cups/bottles from being scratched by the screw heads.2. The clip attaches to the cup holder with a plate and two screws/bolts. Having two is important because it is very stable and strong compared to similar items that attach with just one screw. There are also several disadvantages. The rubber strip to protect the item it is attached to from the jaws of the clamp is not actually attached to the jaws. This caused me to lose the rubber strip the first time I used it.2. The mesh on the outside isn't very stretchy, which limits its usefulness. You can't really put anything in it other than very flat, flexible things like paper - it would be difficult to fit even something as small as contact lens holders.
