Standard military style belt. Exactly what I paid for. The buckle isn't bad, but I'm not sure it will hold up until further use. If you have a small waist, the belt will need to be shortened. I recommend first marking the cutting line with a marker and cutting through the material with a very sharp blade. DO NOT pull on the threads after cutting the ribbons. Just cut them off with scissors. To prevent the threads from unraveling in the future, just get a heat source. I used matches to heat the edge of the belt. The material will not melt or catch fire and will seal the edge in place. Be careful to only heat the edge as it may melt or damage other parts of the belt. It only takes a few seconds to melt, so be careful what you do. After heating the belt, I simply put it under cold water. After that you should be fine. I chose the above procedure because there are no instructions on how to care for the raw edge. In the past, after the tape was cut without sealing the edge, the material began to degrade on its own. I ended up having to keep cutting the belt, making it shorter with each cut. I hope this information helps others who have purchased this item and are experiencing the same issues as me. Please mark my comment as helpful or not as I often write reviews on products I have purchased. I want to know if I'm wasting my time or really helping others. Many Thanks.
