Two USBC Ports Compatible with iPad Case Small; but internal SD card transfer rate is slow

PROS: It's hard to find an iPad hub that offers 2 USBC ports, so this hub is a winner since a USBC Port supports charging + data while the second USBC port only supports data. This hub will also work if you have an iPad case, as the hub connects with a short cable rather than trying to attach to the side or edge of the iPad. Finally, the hub is nice and small and also has a right-angle connector, which is great if you don't have a lot of desk space. CONS: The internal SD card reader does not read SD cards (e.g. Sony or Lexar 300MB/s SD XC II cards) as fast as my external Sony XQD/SD XC II card reader, which uses a USBC cable is connected to the hub. For example, if I copy 50GB Nikon RAW files from an SD card to the internal iPad SSD via the hub's SD card reader, it takes 9 minutes and 20 seconds, while the same task using a Sony external reader takes 4 minutes and lasts 25 seconds. So that's a bit disappointing (especially since the product description says "Hyper Speed") as I was hoping to leave an external reader at home if I'm traveling light. no charging source nearby - battery dropped 2% on fast transfer and 4% on slow transfer. You may need a built-in SD card reader in a pinch. I haven't tried the HDMI connection yet, but overall I'm impressed with the compact size and solid feel of the case. Overall I am very satisfied and will use this center for my travels.

Pros
