*****UPDATE****** full chair replacement for these problems. As I have not made a warranty claim on the seat, 2 armrests, gas bottle and slide assemblies, all of which have been defective or out of order since I received the chair. I answered yes. I thought, WOW, fantastic customer service. I should have known there was a catch. I received an SMS (3/25/19) asking me to change my complaints and confirm my address. I have since declined the replacement chair as it is nothing more than a bribe to change my rating. They said "sorry to bother you" even though this chair still has 1 year warranty. If I can find the right parts I'll fix this chair, basically the gas tank. If I can't do that, I'll save about 8 months and get a new one. If they had just offered me a chair or parts their rating would have been upped and lit (4 1/2 stars for example). Personally I don't take a bribe to change a rating so they get a higher rating. I wonder how many people have changed their ratings. ******ORIGINAL REVIEW***** First a little background. I am an above the knee amputee (AKA). This is the ONLY chair in my house. I do everything in this chair ie play games, watch TV, email etc. I'm 6'1" and about 165 pounds. Delivery was fast. The box looked like it had been attacked by a Tyrannosaurus Rex. The chair was not damaged at all. Assembly was easy and took about 1/2 hour with hand tools. The initial quality was 3 out of 5 points. This was due to a skipped seam in the back of the chair, and the chair's right side rail appeared to have a flat spot on one of the casters. Binds little and makes little noise. The seat cushion was extremely hard and took about 7-10 days to break in. The seat cushion started to break after 3 months. As AKA, my weight is shifted to the left. At the end of the 4th month I had to put a rolled up towel on the seat to make it comfortable. You can see in the picture it's more than 3/4" down and I'm not sitting in it. Then at about 4 1/2 months the first hint of a gas cylinder problem showed up. For that 11 month -Looking back I'm thinking about taking saws I had to reset it 3 times just by writing this far He isn't allowed to sleep for 4 hours or 10 seconds I never know which ones Months 9 and 10 hands started to diverge at the inner seams. The left photo is without fingers. The picture of the finger of the right hand shows the diverging of the seams and the destruction of the material. Well, what I like about this chair. PU leather, easy to clean and very comfortable durable. The adjustment makes this chair comfortable. So far it has been used by someone who is 5ft 5" 6ft and fits both of us comfortably. I'm not a fan of lumbar pillows and I absolutely LOVE this one. Between the lumbar and head pillows It's almost worth it for that alone he and the swivel are great. They do not pick up dirt and do not bind hair. Aside from the above issues, this would be a 4 1/2 to 5 star chair at this price point. Overall I give the chair 2 1/2 stars. I know I struggle with this chair and spend an average of 7 hours a day in it. Don't ask about the guarantee because I lost my documents. I haven't tried contacting them so I don't know how good it really is.
