2007 Chevy Silverado 1500. No filter found in the truck. Everything went perfectly. Remove all 4 screws and remove the lower dash cover to get it out of the way. I broke mine by pulling it down. Tried with a drill and a razor blade. The razor is easy, just cut the groove lightly and then deeper all the way around. Pull it down and out, clean the inside edge of the dirt. Fold the filter so the tabs are towards the passenger side and slowly lift until it stops, but leave the bottom of the filter flat. Install a new bottom cover with a tab on the back and a screw on the front. Replace the cover under the dashboard. This work took an hour. Now it will be easy to replace in the future.
