Review on Bullhead Safety Eyewear BH10613 Photochromic: Optimal Eye Protection with Adaptive Lens Technology by David Robinson

Too bad I didn't have the polarized version

I bought this because I'm constantly getting in and out of the relatively dark building at my job site. I used to have polarized sunglasses and liked them for driving and I thought "Photochromatic and polarization together should be a good combo." . Since all of my design drawings are on my iPad, I still have to take them off to check something (which isn't a good example as I'm the superintendent of the 100% Eye Protection Required site). too dark to wear in a work trailer. I've read that a polarized coating makes them a bit darker, so that wasn't a surprise. I just hoped I could leave them on all day. They are comfortable and fit well. However, I see the nose pads more out of the corner of my eye than with other glasses I've worn. Not that important to me, but noticeable. At some point I will order photochromic glasses that are not polarized. This pair will ride in my truck as spare driving glasses.

Pros
  • eye protection
Cons
  • boring packaging
