First of all I never realized how much work it takes to keep a glass top hob looking new. But this hob cleaner really helps as the first step in the process. I use it to cut grease and remove dust and dirt. Spray on, leave on for a few seconds (or minutes) and wipe off with a paper towel. The next step is to use a Weiman Heavy Duty Cooktop Cleaner and Polish. It's more of a paste and you use it with Weiman cleaning pads. The heavy duty cleaner removes more stubborn deposits and even helps remove that ring on the glass from the heating elements underneath. Once the film of heavy duty cleaner is removed, buff the surface with a microfiber cloth (or other soft cloth) to keep it looking new. I've been using this combo for over a year and a half and the hob still looks brand new.
