I originally intended to use it for music, but since I switched careers and now frequently consult through Zoom for my remote job, I find myself without a headset more often than not. I put on the headphones and discovered that your hearing is not at all impaired. The mics are effective, and the connection holds even as I move around the room. It's helpful that they switch off, as that ensures there will be enough power to get through the day. In the metro, I enjoy listening to music; yet, there are moments when I wish the volume could be turned up a notch due to the excessive background noise. The odd shape of my left auricle has always rendered my previous headphones useless in that ear. They are sitting extremely securely, so that is not an issue.
