I can hear perfectly when someone is talking to me and keep an eye on my surroundings, making them perfect for the office, running or when you don't need noise cancellation. At the same time, you can have maximum volume and not disturb the person next to you. They are very comfortable for people like me who hate in-ear headphones. You won't even realize they're there. The sound is crisp and clear, but has a very smooth bass, so don't expect much in that area. Overall it was just what I needed.
