I think they must be a parody of Face Halo. They take my makeup off really well. Like Face Halo, I don't know if they're just meant to work with water, but I don't use them that way. First I apply oil or makeup remover balm to my face, then wet the sponge and wipe it all off. It's fairly easy to clean and dries fairly quickly, overnight I'd say. I give 4 stars because I know they won't last long. With each wash after use I can tell they are slowly but surely falling apart and "tearing". But for the price and you get 3, it's not too bad.
