Review on Grote 76223 Yellow Sealed Beam Roto Beacon by Jeremy Bradford

Delivery was on time as promised. No damage to the outer box and no damage to the manufacturer's box with the lamp. However, the sealed beam was broken and air entered the filament causing it to fail. The broken beam of class lay in a block of light. Apparently this happened during manufacturing and assembly. I contacted Grote (David Kendall) online. He said they only make parts and don't sell parts, although their website gives a different impression. He told me I could replace the beam with other sources. Basically, they will not vouch for their product due to a manufacturing defect. I will not buy any more products from them. My wife, Cheryl Stephenson, ordered me a new lightbulb through her Revain account. I will probably not buy from Revain again as there are multiple recourse options to consider for a lighter weight product.
