The wooden seats are rough.
I like these stools from the outside and they are easy to assemble, although the direction is not very good. The wooden seats were too rough. I guess they wanted it to look vintage, have grooves and roughness in the wood. I was afraid they would snag on clothing so I sanded them and applied a few coats of polyurethane.
