works but is thinner than me. Works well for what I paid but I have a feeling they won't last 6 months. I've had others that were thicker and lasted a few years. My boys are pretty rough with doors so they're getting used to it. But saved a lot of little fingers. If you are on a budget they will work. If you have a few bucks more to spend, get thicker ones that will snap after a few door slams.
