With twins going potty training in the near future, I was looking for a sturdy ladder or step stool to help kids get to our chair-high toilets. All the ladders I've found attach to less than ideal seats (which are often padded - gross). All the stools seemed either too ugly or too bulky or too narrow or unstable. I stumbled across this and ordered one last week. The paint is gross, but it's not a problem plastic-safe spray paint can't fix! When we took it out of the box, our kids immediately took to it as a chair and stool, carrying it around and arguing over who would sit on it next. We have 2 toilets in the main part of the house, so I immediately ordered another one. I love their height, how durable they are as a stool and how easy they are to wipe down to sanitize. Standing it fits well next to the toilet. And we can use it as a stool for the kids to get to the sink. Didn't really know it was plastic, but for our purposes it's fine. It's light enough for kids to carry around, but the embellishments around the edges snag a bit, which helps ensure it's durable. I'll let you know if this turns out to be dangerous in any way. But now I think it will be perfect!
