So basically all but a few reviews love the soft, comfortable rubberized finish and smooth material look, but a few reviewers complained that the design was difficult to put on and take off. Same problem when it first arrived trying to snap the pin into the hole after inserting the group into the slot. BUT I read another review explaining how easy it is to put on and take off and I was baffled as to why I and others have had exactly the opposite experience when it was fitted and clipped onto our wrists. Then I found that instead of putting the strap in the slot and then adjusting and snapping it, you just find the hole to the correct length and insert the pin slightly into the hole, then pull the loose end into the slot and under the skin, if that makes sense. Once you understand this simple procedure, this strap will be much easier to put on and take off than the one that originally came with the watch. Trust me, it's easy when done right. So I highly recommend it, it seems very well done! The clasps that connect it to a real Fitbit Ion watch are very secure and snap into place perfectly and easily. The material is soft and comfortable and I feel like my Fitbit watch is now getting better (more accurate) heart rate readings with this strap than it was before using the original design. I think the watch is now better, more reliable and more comfortable on my wrist than before, which makes me very happy! So I'm happy to give it a solid 5 stars. I have black and it looks very good with my dark gray watch. Now I'm considering ordering a light gray strap for a change as it suits me very well.
