Lol. I really need to buy cameras after not using them for a long time. I bought this V2 when it first came out. I have a Nikon J1, almost all Nikon 1 lenses and several Nikon DSLRs. I also have an FT-1 adapter to play around with my other DX/FX lenses. You can read more in-depth reviews of the V2 elsewhere, but overall the V2 is a great little camera with DSLR focus speeds in good light. The V2 is better than my J1 in terms of focusing in low light. My J1 sometimes can't focus even in bad light. I see no difference in picture quality between J1 and V2. The grip and improved controls make the V2 easier to use than the J1. The V2 still has the same greenish hue as all of Nikon's latest N1 and DSLR cameras; most people won't notice. Both the J1 and V2 are so light that I rarely use my Nikon DSLR. I usually have 10-30 on J1 and 18.5 f1.8 or 30-110 on V2. Because they're so light, I usually wear both cameras around my neck so I don't have to switch lenses on the V2. I would have bought the V1 instead of the J1 if the V1 had a flash drive built in. V2 has a built-in flash. As with J1, the video of V2 is also very good. That's probably the best reason I like the Nikon 1 cameras, because they take both stills and video pretty well. When children are walking around the Nikon 1 camcorder, keep the children in focus in good light. DSLRs focus back and forth trying to keep up with moving subjects. If price is an issue, wait for the V2's price to drop, or get the V1 if you don't mind that the V1 doesn't have a built-in flash.
