Purchased for use in the Kalahari where there is an indoor and outdoor aqua zone are. There is a lot of walking. We went for the third time and I used flip flops before which didn't work because I took them off as they were slippery when wet. I would end up not using them and leaving them behind and getting scratches and cuts on the bottoms of my toes and feet from the cement floor. These aqua shoes were a great solution to keep my feet from hurting. They fit perfectly. I used the guide to measure my foot which showed I was between sizes. I should have taken a larger size but ended up going for 6.5-7.5 as that's my normal size for different shoes anyway. To give you an idea, I wear a size 7 in open shoes and a size 7.5 in sneakers. The fit was perfect. not too big or small. The soles didn't move and I could wear them in any activity. I decided to remove them in 1 hot tub. The right shoe did have a few tears in the toe box and rolled off, probably from the lazy river and pinching my feet, but for the price I wasn't too mad because in the future I might use them as they are yet on beat. The sole is rubber and I didn't slip. They were very comfortable. I left my shoes overnight. about 12 hours to dry and they were still damp when I put them back on. I air dried them when I got home and now I can save them for other uses. The main downside I had was the writing on the back of the shoe. I'm not into logos or design and didn't like how garish it looked, but I felt the functionality outweighed the fashion aspects. I happened to see a man in the park wearing the same pair as me. It was a bit embarrassing but funny at the same time. I think they look better on men. I didn't really like the black stripe pattern but I was in a hurry to take them with me on my trip and didn't want to order something extravagant and crazy in design to pair with any swimsuit.
