Review on Black Marble Hard Shell Case for MacBook Pro 13 Inch 2020-2016 (A2338 M1 A2159 A1989 A1706 A1708), Including Keyboard Cover, Screen Protector, and Anti-Dust Plugs Set by Jeff Richmond

I originally had a solid black matte case from another company but they no longer make the case in black. I bought this cover instead of another competitor, thinking it was a solid color. Unfortunately, the "black" case is more gray than anything else and I now think both cases I've seen on Amazon are actually the same. The rubber pins that hold the laptop in place are smoother than my last case, which worries me because if I bump my laptop it could fall off the table. The keyboard cover is okay, but I probably won't use it as I feel like it slows down my typing. Connectors for ports, while some fit, others are very difficult to insert into ports. I've tried several times to put a screen protector on my laptop; Removing the lid was difficult and I couldn't get all the air bubbles out of the screen. What also worries me is the free space at the bottom of the laptop. My previous case had edges on the corners that covered the corners. So if the laptop was closed and dropped or was in a backpack and dropped violently, the bottom corners of the laptop were protected. Overall the case is good for the price, I'm just disappointed that I couldn't find some pricier options that offer a little more protection.
