I was so excited when I got them for my son who is 18 months old and loves his muslin comforters. He carries them with him everywhere and we have 10-15 of them at home, but this one was much thicker and nicer. When the package arrived I opened it and the smell was just awful! The blanket was wet in a plastic bag and smelled of laundry that had been in the washing machine for two days. I appreciate that the duvet was prewashed but should also be dried because it was disgusting! I immediately put it in the washing machine and removed the smell, but it would be terrible if I sent it to someone as a gift.
