LED too long best in lamps

Lamp works but too long. It fits in the socket, but when I put my socks in the lens (headlight lens) the LED touches the front of the lens and doesn't allow the socket to be fully inserted. It would be helpful if the dimensions of the product were given. Packaging dimensions are given, but not for the product.
