My son wanted a watch with Roman numerals. Not easy to find to fit a nine year old. He was in seventh heaven when he opened it for Christmas. He couldn't wait to wear it to school. On his first day of school, he took it off and put it in his lunch box so as not to damage it during recess. He forgot it was there and threw it in the trash after dinner. He didn't realize it until the next day when he was packing his lunch. He was so sad about it, but remembering what's important to him in the future is probably a good life lesson. It was a decent watch for the money.
