Review on 🌹 Schmidt's Aluminum-Free Deodorant, Rose & Vanilla, 24-Hour Odor Protection, Certified Natural, Vegan & Cruelty-Free, 3.25 oz, for Women and Men by Sherry Brown

I wanted so much to LOVE this deodorant. In fact I used the first few days and couldn't wait to get on here and post a review to make sure the world knows I think it's awesome! This was the FIRST natural deodorant I tried that didn't require reapplying multiple times a day. In fact, I was pleasantly surprised that the sweet vanilla-rose scent was still there the next day when I woke up! I found it to be of such good quality that I figured 1 application could last 2 days in a row (obviously I didn't want to experiment with it so I always reapplied the next morning. Ha!) Days turned into weeks, I always have Haven't bothered to write this review yet. During that time my opinion changed. drastic. The first thing I noticed was sweat stains on my shirts. The only thing worse than black shirts with white deodorant stains are white shirts with BROWN deodorant stains. I'm not talking about an old shirt that gradually got dirty under the armpits over time, as all shirts do. I'm talking about a BRAND NEW white shirt that has never been worn. I started paying more attention and there were brown/orange sweat stains on every light colored shirt I wore; because, as you can see in my photo, the color of the deodorant is brownish. So that was the first big bummer. But like all natural things, deodorant is more expensive than something you buy at the pharmacy, and I can't buy a new natural deodorant every time it doesn't work. And because I love the smell and the long-lasting protection, I figured my deodorant would last. A few days later I noticed some red pimples on my armpits. I thought it was a razor burn or a bra digging into my armpit. I stopped wearing this bra and gave it a few days to see if the bumps went away. Here we are 2 weeks later and the buds are MUCH worse. They don't itch. I don't think I'm allergic to the product. And I've never had such problems. as usual. I'm not allergic to anything I've encountered in my life and I don't have sensitive skin. So I think it's because of this product. I guess because the deodorant is so thick it lasts so long and I can still smell it on me on the second day; However, BECAUSE it's so thick, I think it's clogging my pores and causing bacteria to build up. I don't think the product is bad. I really think this is a quality product. It just doesn't work for me. If that were the case, I would never use any deodorant other than this as long as I live. That's how much I wanted to love this product. To all of you who have this work, you are so lucky!
