I wish I had pictures of the first time I put them on my boy. He looked at me and literally fell down. He refused to get up. I had to pick him up and put him on his paws. I persuaded him to go outside and let him out into the backyard. He took off and in one lap around the yard all 4 boots flew off him. I was hoping to have something that would allow me to detach it without having to wash the dirt off every time it comes back. That's not it. I gave the product 3 stars because although they don't stay on his paws they are wonderfully made from excellent material. They protect his paws and keep them soft and dry. Taking him for walks on salty sidewalks in winter is a must as they protect his pads from salt burn. Until he rushes, they seem to stay on his paws.
