I bought this to use with students and teachers. When I first opened it I didn't even have to read the instructions, it was so easy to use. I used it to capture my lessons in a special education classroom. Mino is so small that the children didn't even notice him. Then I used it for a video mini-seminar for three teachers. Normally they would be nervous if they recognized and saw a large video camera in front of them, but Mino is so small that it didn't distract the participants or the presenters. Finally, I downloaded the entire 30-minute film to the teacher's computer, installed the Flip software, edited and enhanced the video, and placed it on the school's shared drive. Cons: It's not HD, only 2GB, lasts 60 minutes and only has 2x zoom (that really bothers me) USB seems a bit flimsy so I bought a connecting cable too. Pros: Lightweight, easy to use, easy and quick to charge (also charges when connected to a computer), easy to boot. Especially for people like me with iphone who don't have video, easy and fun editing software, video quality and clarity is amazing! The tripod looks like it won't hold a fly, but it's great for placing the Mino in a hard-to-reach spot for video recording. Simple and durable enough for ages 4 to 400! My only regret is that I didn't research and find out that Ultra is coming out this April which has 120 minutes of video.
