This is probably the best amount I've ever spent. I live in Georgia where it's hot in the summer but it's so well insulated and there are no drafts in the winter. My 2 50 lb dogs break through many times each day and it is indestructible. I don't have to play bouncer anymore! I had a problem with the lock and they immediately sent me a new lock mechanism, but I was able to fix it in about 15 minutes without having to replace the entire lock. Word to the wise: Do not lock the door from the inside so that it can be removed if you need to change the lock. Also, they sell an optional rail system that allows the skid plate to be slid open (instead of bolted on) day/night, which is very convenient and a great design.
