I have other MaryCraft dresses that I really like so I ordered this skirt suit a size 10 like the other dresses I've bought. I usually wear a size 8 or 10. I'm 5ft 5, 160, D cup, hourglass shape (small waist, large bust and hips). The skirt fits perfectly. Not too tight so it would be perfect for the job. The top was too small - I couldn't even button it up! If the skirt fits perfectly at the waist, then the jacket should fit the same waist and also be slightly larger because it will be worn over the skirt. It doesn't make sense that it was designed that way. Buying a different size wouldn't fix the situation (as it's a two piece set) so it had to be returned. A bit of a shame, the material is a thick ponte jersey which has a fairly premium feel and is wrinkle resistant - great for travel. If you have a pear shaped body type or a straight body type this might work for you but size up.
