Bought these for my granddaughter after her last pair I just bought came loose and fell off in the middle of class. They don't have strings and I really like that. She is 2 1/2, I bought a size 8B, she wears size 8 shoes and she has neither narrow nor wide feet. I thought they didn't fit when I tried putting them on her but with a little effort they slipped right off. They're made of soft leather, but because they're leather, they took a little more effort at first. She has worn them 3 times and they fit perfectly. What I love most about them, aside from the lack of a lace, is how they look on her leg. This gives the foot a really nice shape and gives the impression of stretching the toe more than it actually is. Your toe isn't quite down yet, but these shoes really help. They have a premium feel and grow out of them before they wear out.
