Wow! My friend Matt told me it was coming out and it was just announced. I'm on the pre-order list! I have 85.58.50.24mm 1.4 and now this beautiful lens! I got it from Revain and saw it was delivered today so I texted the UPS driver and asked if I could take it off his truck for a shoot! I'm so in love with this lens, I love shooting prime lenses and usually wide open. I used it for a few sessions today and it's so spicy! It's a bit heavy but fits my D5 well. It focuses quickly and is very quiet. It's not a macro that suits me, I rarely need it. I've added a photo I took with him today, this is taken at 1.6 as I thought I was wide open but not quite. It's so sharp and the background becomes an oily blur! My 85mm 1.4 was my go-to lens for portraits and street photography, but I consider it my new standard! If you like shallow depth and sharp optics, buy it!
