Disappointed with wristwatch

I like the watch, it's beautiful, it's a gift from my son but it doesn't stay on my wrist because the flaps are broken and won't stay closed, I realize that when I get it tried it on when he gave it to me and I realize he didn't count the time, the hands didn't move, we are both very sad and disappointed.
