This antenna exceeded my expectations. For the 2 meter band, the SWR is 1.02:1 at 148.200MHz and under 2:1 at 143-155MHz. This makes it very suitable for both the amateur radio band and most of the 2m business band. be about 3:1, which is worse than I was hoping for. My initial goal was to use it in my windowsill mounted car and almost everything around me has a 2m range so it suits my needs perfectly. . I was very impressed that it held up without breaking even at freeway speeds (70-75 mph). I've spent a few hours with it and no problems so far. I have found that the SWR on the car is slightly better than in "free air". So the middle of the best SWR on my machine is 1.02:1 and drops off at 148.8 MHz. The lower frequency, SWR 2:1, is about 139,500, the upper frequency measured by my analyzer was 1.7:1 SWR at 156MHz, giving a slightly wider bandwidth. Assuming it's a symmetrical curve I would guess it could be used up to 158MHz and probably still under 2:1. Window mount antenna clip - SMA connector
