My phone charges much faster with this cable. I used to think that all cables are the same in terms of charging time. I also knew that thicker cables will charge your phone faster, but I figured all cables were about the same gauge. I don't know if the wires are thicker in this power cable, but it works very well. This is my second and both still work and work very well.
