At work, we tend to either share offices or access materials from other people's workspaces. When one of us closes the door, no one knows if it's for an important phone call or just to drown someone out. This stopped the more polite people from interrupting but it meant they didn't get what they needed and ended up thinking they were locked in a room for hours while someone was just trying to drown out the noise of the vacuum cleaner. I bought them for our doors so we know if people are allowed to knock. They have a nice, clean, shiny appearance. The plastic they are made of is lightweight yet durable. A worker is jealous and wants to find a humorous, gangster, playful theme for his room at home. I haven't found anything that meets his expectations, but I'll keep an eye on it.
