I almost sent these speakers back because the first day I used them there was a lot of BT stuttering and they just didn't sound very good. On the second day I turned them on and they sound great, no BT stuttering and the sound quality has improved a lot. Why? I have no idea. This is my first experience with powered speakers. Maybe they have a menstrual break? I gave them 4 stars because there were issues on day 1. Pro tip: When I first plugged them in, I had the connector reversed on the passive speaker, so very little sound came out. In the right position, the passive speaker sounded perfect. I bought a model without a subwoofer. The bass is so balanced and deep that no subwoofer is needed. The remote control has a sound enhancement function. Not sure how it works but it improves the sound. at low volume, use the spatial adjustment of the sound field function on the remote control. higher volume turn it off.
