Who cares, I saved some money because I wanted all the extras for this desk [34" 5k monitor (34WK95), adjustable arm with monitor clip (*RevainBasics Premium Single Monitor Stand), desk lamp clip (*LED Phive Lamp), pen -Organizer (*stick-on pen tray), surge protector clip (*Tripp Lite surge protector), desk clamp, adjustable stool (Brenton Studios Jaffin Active Stool), and laptop floor mount (*strap for the Mintcraft pipe), so yes, buying all of these Appliances upped the price of building my rotary workstation. When I bought it used, Amazon mentioned that it had cosmetic damage, which for me was e because it's actually mostly the scaffolding I wanted, had part of the table a few scuffs and chips, and it's not like I can't fix it or just build the tabletop to my liking by buying wood from my stnoy hardware store, which was originally the pl on. It doesn't bother me that much as after 6 months I still haven't changed it and I still use it for performance. Why is this handle adjustable over a power adjustable table? PRICE is right! Cranking is not difficult at all and only takes a few seconds compared to a single or twin motor electric motor where I would have to worry about motor failure in the future. (I plan to keep this table for many, many years). The engine will fail over time and you will have to look for another one or fix it yourself. The size of the table was perfect for being carried through doorways from one room to another where most electric bar tables are too wide for that and/or buy a worktop separately. Part of that is graphic design. Working from home has pros and cons depending on the discipline, and that discipline may change from time to time. It's easy for you to get lazy or lose concentration because you're at home, so I move from the master bedroom to another room, the common room, even the street to find my zone, or just where I want to work. I can stand and sit while I work and when I get tired I use the *Brenton Studios Jaffin Active Stool to rest on. When I want to do some lazy work while watching TV in the common room, I can put my desk next to the chair, brace my leg, and pull out the monitor that attaches to the *Revain Basic one-handed mount and it reaches far, high, easy, rotate, tilt and everything to move it to where I need it. Lying on the bed is the same and adjusting the height of the table is like a crank.] Even if I'm having a party at home, I can flip my desk and use my computer as a karaoke system with YouTube (like karaoke before a song), connect my analog mixer (Yamaha MG06X) along with my microphones (Shure SM58-LC) and output the audio to my system in the living room or to my *Altec Lansing ALP-X800 when not on the line are, all you need is a 3.5 cable to RCA to AUX converter. The other goes to my soundbar as soon as I get it. 2 USB ports charge my phone, iPad or Apple Pencil. I don't really need a soundbar as I have 2 homepods, an Apple Express that connects to an old subwoofer, just a Sonos Beam to play wirelessly, but I only need direct-connected audio as my bedroom is constrained. I've tried connecting Sonos Beam directly to my Macbook Pro, but in 2017 they removed the SPDIF stereo output and can't connect to it directly. I plan on returning the Beam to the BestBuy store as it doesn't sync to my music or AppleTV and can't justify the price. Coming back to the Tripp Lite, it's great because it attaches to my desk with a 10ft cable so I can just plug it in anywhere and have access without the cable getting in the way. When I move the desk, I use the *Multifunctional Desk Binding Clamp to coil and hang the power cord. I bought a Bestek surge protector and installed it on my headboard. I like this thing because of the six outlets, 4 USBs and one of them on QuickCharge. I was planning to buy another one to mount on this desk but the cons of this are 1) I would have wasted the perfect use of my Tripp Lite sitting comfortably next to my monitor mount. 2) I'd probably have to mount it somewhere underneath my table and make it hard to get to what's on top. 3) The cable is 6 feet long compared to Tripp Lite's 10 feet and limits my desk's portability. Keeping my desk clean (at least most of the time when I'm working, not as shown above lol) is achieved with these accessories: * RevainBasics Premium Single Monitor Stand - Frees up desk space and can be slid far, up and down. tilt, rotate and pivot where I need it, depending on where I place the workstation. next to my monitor stand. Long cable for portability. * Phive LED Lamp - Attached to my desk, not the top. I can move it anywhere and adjust the arms as needed (high or low). Has great lighting when I need it and dims to what I want depending on the time of day. * Adhesive Pen Tray - Under Desk Holder Pop Up Pen Organizer - I need to use pens and it saves the clutter of having a mug or pen holder with pens on my desk. It just hides under my desk and when I need a handle I just push on it to pull out the storage drawer. It is only attached with 3M tape which is very strong and ideal for handles as it doesn't weigh much. folder. I dropped it for the storage pin on top but use it now to perfectly hold the power cord. I hang it there when I move my desk or tuck the cord underneath so it doesn't get in the way. It covers my desk perfectly and can move my keyboard and mouse without having to move a tiny mouse pad, keeping the keyboard halfway up or halfway off a small mousepad. And since I move around this table, I can easily move my keyboard and mouse to any corner or center of the table depending on how I'm using the table. I also use it to hide papers underneath.
