I ordered size M for my daughter which she wears at all other brands (leggings from Old Navy, Walmart and Target). These leggings were so small and tight and short that she could barely put them on. These are very thick good quality leggings so I order a size larger than two spare pants to see if they fit. The compression factor is definitely there and that's probably why they seem so small. These leggings were probably 4 inches shorter than the typical full length leggings from other brands (like Old Navy).
