I bought this product to raise my TV in the bedroom to clean objects placed on the dresser. While my screen view wasn't obscured, I need a bit more height so the remote sensor isn't blocked. This product is relatively solid, although I miscalculated a bit and the base of my TV protrudes slightly from the sides of the stand. Although this does not affect the product or the stability, it irritates me a bit from an aesthetic point of view. This riser has a built in drawer with 3 compartments approximately 1/2 inch deep. When used in the office I think they are great for storing paperclips or other small items of that nature. The drawer slides out. and slides out fairly easily and tilts down slightly when pulled out for easier access. Under the drawer is an open space suitable for storing small items as a makeshift storage compartment.. Fulfilled for what I wanted to use it for it does the job perfectly.
