This really is the best shoe rack I've ever had! He is very strong and beautiful! What a great upgrade from the flimsy little ones of the past! I will say that you have to trust the process! I almost lost hope a few times during assembly because it seemed brittle and I didn't see it getting strong, but it did! When you have everything tightened and installed, it's great! Assembly was very easy, took about 30 minutes for an inexperienced girl haha. It comes with everything you need to assemble it and everything is very clearly labeled. The instructions are pictures and they are very simple, follow them carefully. I love the size of this shelf it's so stylish and would look great in my closet and would also look great on the front door to organize your shoes once you walk in. Holds approximately three pairs of shoes per shelf. Only 15 pairs if you use the top shelf plus the option to fold the sandals to fit more. The shelf is a metal mesh so the heels can stand without falling through the holes. Each shelf is sloped downwards for a better view of the shoes. The back is open which is great for plus sizes, my husband wears a size 12 and I can't fit my shoes on the other shoe racks but they fit great! It will be a great housewarming or Christmas gift, even for a white elephant. or secret Santa, because this is one that everyone can find a use for!
