Cable is DOA: Cables and Connections

I don't know what "4K UHD" means in the context of HDMI cable, but as far as I know HDMI equals HDMI. Anyway, this cable doesn't work at all. I've tried several other HDMI cables and they all work, so this cable is definitely the problem. I need a longer cable but this doesn't work on arrival. He comes back. Buyer Warning.
