I love the results I get when cleaning windows from the outside with a mop. I've always felt that going from a washcloth to a mop was a bit of a pain. I was happy when my wife ordered this Lomida professional window cleaner because it had a double cleaning pad (same head) and a scraper. I started by cleaning the side windows next to our front door. These side windows are approximately 14 inches wide. This Lomida combination light worked very well on these windows. The scrubber does a good job of applying my secret window cleaner (very warm water and some Dawn liquid dish soap), and the side of the mop does an excellent job of scrubbing down that soapy mixture. Oh I also appreciate the fact that I can change the length of the pole. In fact, I didn't need any part of the frame for the side windows of the front doors. My next test was the large front picture window. Everything started to look a little less bright here. This window is approximately 8 feet wide and 7 feet high. I found the size of this dual mount to be too small to be used on large glass. When you turn your head from mop to washcloth, the water will flow onto the window you just wiped. Also, the 5ft pole barely reached the top of the window. In addition, the rod is quite brittle and quite pliable when you wash the window and even wipe it dry. It didn't break, but I was also very careful with it. This Lomida window sill is very suitable for side windows (narrow) and can be used well for standard size bedroom windows. I do not recommend it for large windows that are above ground level.
