I was looking for an iPad case with a stand but no case and built in screen protector. The advantage of not having a lid is that I don't have to open it every time and it takes up less space when it's open. I also have a feeling dust can get in between those with built in screen protectors. There aren't many products that meet my criteria, but this one does. I got exactly what I came for. It is quite light, lies comfortably in the hand and is stable. It fits great too. Edges and corners look well protected. Five stars.
