This cable is thicker than most, which I believe should carry more bandwidth and higher resolution. The gold-plated ends are pleasant to the touch, but they also serve a purpose. I had Uncharted 4 from PS4 on a Samsung 4k TV and it looks great as it should. So this cable does what it should. Of all my HDMI cables, this one seems to be the most detailed for its purpose. I would put it there with more expensive manufacturers. It has ethernet but I haven't messed around with that feature but I'll try later with my raspberry pi. Overall I would order more of these cables for my entertainment needs that are important to me and want a good signal and long life. If you're using 1080 or something that isn't used often, this might be overkill.
